Just in case you don’t have a window, the National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch that began at 1:20 p.m. and will last until 9 p.m. Along with the rain, we could see large hail, strong winds and lightning. Plus, added bonus: a slight chance of a tornado! Despite the 9 p.m. ceiling, the Capital Weather Gang thinks the shower and storm threat could be over by early evening. UPDATE 2:18 p.m….
