Updated Weather Advisory: No Snow, Just Yucky Sleet for D.C.

Well, This Is Just Cruel

Remember Friday? When it was in the mid-70s? And sunny? And people were barbecuing? Yeah, well, that was all a horrible, horrible tease. Yuck! Luckily, looks like temperatures will warm sufficiently by the afternoon to make the possibility of icy…

The Winter Weather Advisory is effective from 4 a.m. Tuesday morning to 6 p.m. that evening, during which time 2-3″ of snow is currently predicted. The Winter Storm Watch goes into effect after 6 p.m. on Tuesday through to Wed. afternoon. That system will bring everyone’s favorite wintry mix to the region,…

Depressing Thought of the Afternoon

While checking in on the status of tonight’s winter storm watch — which is looking like cold rain with a good chance of sleet from 6 p.m. on — one of the first thoughts I had was, “Good, hopefully the bad weather will mean fewer street murders tonight.” Ugh….
