DDOT: Snow Operations Are Not Suspended
From the press release: During a morning press conference District officials announced crews had been asked to pull to the side of the roadways as white out conditions were in effect during the ongoing snow storm. This is a temporary measure. Snow operations have not been suspended. All crews are still out working and on roadways….

Snowplow Fail
Via reader extraordinaire IMGoph comes this image of snowpocalyptic destruction. The pic was snapped by Roofwalkers; IMG seems to believe the image is a scene from I-270. Many on Twitter are saying that snowplows on the ground are light, despite the early forecast that snow would fall today.
