The singer apologized for trying and failing to do a D.C. dance at the Something In the Water festival last weekend.

The music festival and its star-studded lineup — held in the District for the first time over the weekend — was not without its complaints.

It’s a jam-packed three-day weekend, with plenty of things to do around the D.C. region for Juneteenth, Father’s Day, or just celebrating summer.

The news comes after local activists criticized Something In The Water festival’s $300-plus tickets for being unaffordable.

Roads will start closing as early as Monday ahead of Pharrell Williams’ festival on Friday.

Organizers point out the Something in the Water music festival, to be held over Juneteenth weekend, will be inaccessible to many Black residents. If all goes as planned, their event will be free.
