GW Hospital has suspended negotiations with the city after the D.C. Council approved several amendments to a bill meant to expedite and finalize the deal.

The D.C. Council will cast its final vote Tuesday on a controversial bill to finalize a deal with George Washington University Hospital to build a new hospital east of the Anacostia river.

It will be the home court for the Washington Mystics and the practice facility for the Wizards.
