According to Fairfax County police, there were “roughly” 265 bike thefts from the beginning of September 2011 to the end of August 2012. During that same time period this year, there have been 361 thefts.

The test of integrity was conducted by leaving Honest Teas out at an unmanned kiosk and requesting $1 per bottle using the honor system. Out of 50 states and one should-be state, D.C. came in dead last, with just 80 percent of participants paying for the drink.
