With fewer than 400 Sumatran tigers left in the wild, the Zoo gave 400 people “custom polycarbonate records” of the appropriately named song, “Sumatran Tiger,” to share on social media.
The three-week-old cubs passed their first exam “with roaring colors,” the Zoo said in a release. One cub is male and weighs eight pounds, while the other is female and weighs seven-and-a-half pounds.
