The District is on pace to finish the current fiscal year with a $140 million budget surplus, Mayor Vince Gray’s office announced today, with $23 million being raked in by the city’s new traffic cameras.
Mayor Vince Gray is running around Lower Manhattan today visiting all three major credit-rating agencies, lobbying for an increase in the District’s municipal bond ratings, which have been unchanged since 2009.
