On the final day of the Republican National Convention, our D.C. delegate went through the media wringer, kicked it with Journey and saw Mitt Romney accept his party’s nomination for president. And then there was Clint Eastwood.
Patrick Mara is a delegate to the Republican National Convention from D.C. With the convention’s first day mostly canceled due to the approaching Tropical Storm Isaac, Mara had some more time to explore the host city.
The Republican National Convention takes place this week in Tampa, Fla. Patrick Mara, a delegate to the convention and D.C. school board member, will be sharing with DCist his experiences at the convention and its affiliated events.

Bug Off: D.C. Only 18th Buggiest City in U.S.
D.C. might feel buggy at times, but we’re apparently only the 18th buggiest city in the U.S. (It’s gotta suck to be Tampa.)
