The Mubadala Citi Open will feature 18 of the top 30 tennis players in the world, all competing in Rock Creek Park.

24-year-old Frances Tiafoe defeated 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal — the first American to do so since 2005 — in the US Open Monday.

The tennis superstar scootered and danced around town, and faced off against sister Venus in a Citi Open practice session.

Big names including Venus Williams, Andy Murray, and Frances Tiafoe are coming.

“Honestly, it’s a very beautiful city. I have been able to walk around a bit the past couple of days. I am very impressed.”

Tickets go on sale Friday.

“With only 23 days left until the start of the tournament, there are too many unresolved external issues … that have forced us to make this decision now.”

The local tournament was started in 1969, thanks in large part to tennis legend Arthur Ashe.

They exchanged autographs in D.C. on Thursday.
