The “Because They’re Funny” festival looks to highlight comedians of color in a three-day event at The Wharf.

The night market is hosted by Chef Kevin Tien of Moon Rabbit and will feature more than a dozen other local AAPI chefs and makers.

Organizers hope the Because They’re Funny Comedy Festival will propel a “new generation” of diverse comedians to stardom.
