Transit on Thursday
We had switched this transit column to Tuesdays, but along had to come some big news to double up the transit-related news for the week. We’re talking billion dollar big. Rep. Thomas M. Davis III (R-Va.) today introduced legislation that would provide WMATA with $1.5 billion for capital improvements in exchange for enhanced accountability from the transit agency, reports the Post.
