We Scream for Amy’s
Perusing the dessert menu, we’re always a bit skeptical when we come across something such as “ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry)” or some permutation thereof. Georgetown’s Free Parking to End Soon
Ahh, no more manhole explosions. No more bumpy roads. No more metal plates. The massive utility reconstruction that has torn up Georgetown for much of the past few years is winding down, but the Post reports that something else will be gone when the work officially wraps up: free parking. Fire Forces Evacuation of Tourist Trolley
DCist can only imagine the looks on the faces of all the tourists on the Old Town Trolley today when its engine caught fire today in Georgetown. As the trolley cut across Georgetown on P Street, its propane-powered engine caught fire on P Street as it approached Wisconsin Avenue outside the Marvelous Market and the Thomas Sweet ice cream store.
