Pay Money, Name One of the National Zoo’s Tiger Cubs
An auction on the website Charity Buzz has been created for the chance at naming either the male or female cub.
The three-week-old cubs passed their first exam “with roaring colors,” the Zoo said in a release. One cub is male and weighs eight pounds, while the other is female and weighs seven-and-a-half pounds.
One of the Sumatran tiger cubs born at the National Zoo this month was filmed acting like a real tough guy to its trainer. An adorable, fuzzy tough guy.
Two Sumatran tiger cubs were born on August 5, according to a release, a major victory for conservation efforts.
