The man accused of carrying out a shooting in the lobby of the Family Research Council in August received several more charges today from a federal grand jury, including one charge of committing an act of terrorism.
Floyd Lee Corkins, who was arrested last Wednesday after allegedly shooting a security guard at the headquarters of the Family Research Council, was indicted by a grand jury today on federal and local charges.
The head of the Family Research Council said another organization’s literature enabled yesterday’s shooting of a security guard in a Gallery Place office.
A security guard working in the lobby of a Chinatown office building was shot earlier today, a spokesman for the Metropolitan Police Department said.
