Two People Were Killed By A Driver At Hains Point. A Year Later, Their Families Are Still Waiting For Answers
Relatives of Rhonda Whitaker and Waldon Adams say they still have little information about what happened to the pair, which was killed by a driver as they walked around Hains Point last year.
To reach zero traffic-related deaths and fatalities, the city needs a 35 percent reduction each year through 2024.
At least 23 people have died in D.C. traffic crashes so far this year, up from 12 at the same time last year.

District Traffic Deaths Down in 2010

Following a year when it seems, at least to me, that there has been increased reporting on traffic-related accidents – so far the District has had fewer fatalities in 2010 than in 2009. In fact, D.C.
