In December, a driver struck and killed a 68-year-old woman, Nguyet Ly, while she was walking on the 5900 block of Leesburg Pike near a gas station.
The Metropolitan Police Department says that the incident does not appear to be intentional, and that the driver lost control of the vehicle.
