Charter Schools Square Off Tomorrow, Winner Plays Dunbar in D.C. Championship Football Game
Two charter schools square off tomorrow, and the winner will play Dunbar High School next week in the first citywide championship football game.
A D.C. appeals board ruled yesterday that a player on Wilson High School’s football team was in fact a Maryland resident, making him ineligible and booting the team from the annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Bowl.
Woodrow Wilson High School’s football team was ejected from D.C.’s Turkey Bowl game scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, after D.C. Public Schools found that the team’s roster included a student who lives in Maryland.

Dunbar Beats Coolidge in Turkey Bowl
Calvin Coolidge High School may have had the more newsworthy coach, but it was Dunbar High School that emerged victorious in yesterday’s Turkey Bowl.
