After 12 years, the Dismemberment Plan are back with a brand new album. But is this the D-Plan we fell in love with all those years ago?

The band’s first album in 12 years is loose and laid back, but still sports the band’s trademark jittery funk-inspired brand of alternative rock.

On “Daddy Was a Real Good Dancer,” the Dismemberment Plan get twangy and sentimental.

Tickets are on sale now for the Oct. 19 and Oct. 20 shows.
