As we kind of suspected yesterday, Beyoncé’s performance of the national anthem to cap off President Obama’s second inauguration was recorded ahead of the ceremony.

Even though it wasn’t nearly half as crazy as January 20, 2009, President Obama’s second inauguration was a long day for hundreds of thousands of people from around the world.
