The District’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs released today its proposed changes to regulations governing secondhand shops and announced it will not take any enforcement measures against the affected businesses during the public comment period.

A group of shopkeepers have launched a petition asking the D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs to “stop treating record stores and vintage stores like pawn shops.”
