Technical Problems In Virginia Voter Registration System Cause Delays In Processing Over 100,000 Voter Records
With less than five weeks before Election Day, the state has handed the task of processing the affected voter registration records off to local registrars.
The D.C. DMV have failed to consistently submit data to a group that works with 32 states to clean up their voter rolls, putting the city’s participation in jeopardy.

U.S. Judge John A. Gibney Jr. made the ruling early Wednesday morning in a lawsuit brought by several voter rights groups.
Under the legislation, residents getting any form of identification at the DMV can also register to vote.
