Reopening Of White’s Ferry Could Be Pushed Into 2022 As Dispute Over Virginia Landing Continues
Although White’s Ferry has a new owner pledging to resume operations, negotiations remain stalled over use of a private landing on the Virginia side of the Potomac River.
The ferry, the last of its kind along the Potomac River, closed in late December because of a decades-old dispute between the operator and the owner of the landing site on the Virginia side of the river.
