Mayor Vince Gray, DPW Director William O. Howland and DDOT Director Terry Bellamy are conducting a damage assessment survey of the District this morning in the wake of Hurricane Irene, according to a media advisory issued by Gray’s office. The group started at 10:00 am at 3500 Massachusetts Ave, NW and will focus on Wards 1, 2, and 3 this morning.
