The Lincoln Memorial, World War II Memorial, and Washington Monument were vandalize with “not overtly political or hate-filled” graffiti.

The North Dakota column was spray painted with “#NoDAPL.”

Maurice Holmes has been charged with fleeing to elude law enforcement.

The Million Vet March on the Memorials did not appreciate the Conservative agenda of their rally.

Conservative politicians, veterans and protestors descended upon the National Mall this weekend to protest the federal government shutdown, which is now in its third week, while some chose to rally against President Obama.

“This memorial, it’s fantastic,” 91-year-old Charles Herd tweeted. “Just fantastic.”
