NBC4 Poaches Mark Segraves Away From WTOP
Washington’s news and traffic station is about to get a whole lot less newsy with the announcement that WTOP’s District reporter Mark Segraves is moving to NBC4.
After 32 years with NBC4 Washington, the last 18 as anchor of its morning news program, Joe Krebs is retiring at the end of March, the station announced Wednesday.

Bob Ryan Signs Off from NBC4
Venerable WRC/NBC4 weatherman Bob Ryan bid a low key but still emotional farewell to his viewers on Friday night. The rumors are that he may soon resurface at rival WJLA/ABC7, but the man has been with NBC for 30 years. His departure is without a doubt the end of an era. WRC/NBC4 has been rebroadcasting only MSNBC programming for the last few hours (Chris Matthews is on right now), and the station finally put up this announcement on its web site at about 5:15 p.m. “Due to major technical problems, News4 at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. will not be seen.
