‘Blue Line Plus’ service will be in effect through May, 2023 as maintenance work refreshes the tunnel lining and bridge on the Yellow Line over the Potomac River.
The opening of the Potomac Yard station has been delayed until 2023 and the closure of six stations south of National Airport has been extended until Nov. 5.
The project is slated to take place in fall 2022, but the exact timing has not yet been confirmed.
Free shuttle busses will run at all stations during Metro’s regular hours.
