How was your weekend? Good? Mine was great — in no small part because finally, almost 11 months after dubbing those who use it “myopic little twits” and inspiring a meme the scope of which we at DCist could only marvel at, Courtland Milloy fulfilled his promise and joined Twitter.

It’s been pretty fun so far.

“[T]his twitter thing is great for people with adhd,” tweets Milloy, also wondering that “if [he] follow everybody who follows me, do we go in circles?” (He was also very impressed with the presence of Serena Williams and is very jealous of Post colleague Ezra Klein’s robust follower count.) But if you think that Milloy is just another aimless tweeter, you’re way off:

seriously, the main reason im on twitter is to track millennials & find out if they do anything in dc other than party and gentrify […] So if you run across any of groups of 20something, Gen x Me Gen hang outs, other than Adams Morgue and China Block, send them my way

Oh, yes, this is going to be entertaining. Whatever you do, Courtland, please don’t let the haters get you down. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some partying and gentrifying to take care of before lunch.
