Last week, City Paper reported that Metro had identified the driver who was filmed shoving a passenger off his bus. On Friday, the Washington Examiner reported that officials had completed their investigation, and that the driver no longer works for Metro.

According to the woman who filmed the incident, the man the driver pushed off the bus appeared to have been under the influence of alcohol and drugs, fell onto a female rider and her 2-year-old child, and threatened the driver.

Metro spokesman Dan Stessel told the Washington Examiner that he “can’t provide specific details of action taken against an individual employee, other than to say that the employee no longer works for Metro.”
