All hail His Holiness, Chef Mike of Graffiato! Mike Isabella, the Graffiato and Bandolero chef and former Top Chef contestant, is going around town in a one-day-only food truck.
Isabella’s mobile eatery is a promotion for his involvement with CityEats, a new venture by the Food Network to compete with sites like OpenTable in booking restaurant reservations. Today, the normally kitchen-bound Isabella has been touring D.C. on a glass-enclosed flatbed, serving up snacks cooked in the Graffiato kitchen.
Thing is, Isabella’s food truck looks awfully alike the vehicle favored by another sainted personality: the Pope! As the Post’s Tim Carman pointed out, the Graffiato truck looks kind of like the Popemobile, with its glass casing and VIP waving from behind a (presumably) safe barrier.

The Graffiato-mobile has already hit up Dupont Circle, Union Station and Franklin Square. Via Carman, there are still a few chances to gaze upon the apparently now beatific Isabella.
