It’s the holiday season, so that means you’re on the search—possibly at the last minute—for gifts for friends and family. Over the course of the next few weeks, we’re going to dig up the D.C.-made and D.C.-themed gifts that we’d love to get—and would be sure to give. If anything catches your eye that you think would be worth including, feel free to send it along.

Yesterday, we found a map of D.C. from which you can take a drink. Today, we’ve got a map you can wear. Svetlana Blum Briscella and John Briscella, a couple based in Brooklyn, produce a series of earrings and pendants depicting U.S. cities. Their Urban Griddled jewelry, available from their Aminimal studio, depicts much of D.C.’s street grid from an almost flattened aerial perspective. Stainless steel earrings or necklaces go for $40; gold-plated items for $50.
