Have you noticed the fat flakes falling from the sky? Unless this is a mass hallucination, it appears to be snowing again, after a spring-like weekend that saw people wearing shorts. Shorts!
The Capital Weather Gang yesterday afternoon predicted “conversational snow” for the majority of the region. But that conversation seems to be, “Hey! Winter isn’t over!” because the snow is sticking in D.C.
The National Weather Service says D.C. should expect snow accumulation of less than a half inch. CWG puts that number at around one inch. The snow should stop between 2 and 3 p.m.
While minor inconveniences may occur, it’s hard to deny that this snow is pretty beautiful. Give in to winter. It always wins.
