At first it seemed the far western suburbs would be the only places to enjoy an accumulative snowfall today, but it turns out D.C. will also be experiencing a White Boxing Day. It’s just a dusting, but the snow that is falling on the city right now is sticking to the ground. (Unlike Monday’s flurry.)
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for D.C. through 1 p.m. informing residents to expect a wintry mix of precipitation and total accumulation of one-tenth of an inch of ice.
