A person was was stabbed last night in Shaw amid a bike robbery.

The victim was approached around 11 p.m. by an unknown suspect who demanded the bike. When the suspect didn’t comply, the suspect began stabbing him, according to police spokesman Sean Hickman.

The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The assault took place in the 1200 block of 7th Street, NW.
