D.C. Police are investigating a triple shooting that occurred in the Shaw neighborhood last night.

The Metropolitan Police Department said that the shooting occurred just before 10 p.m. near the intersection of 7th and O Streets NW. The MPD says that one victim was transported to a nearby hospital with “serious and life-threatening injuries,” but said early Wednesday that he is expected to recover, WNEW reports. The two other victims were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
