A staffer in the mayor’s Office of Community Affairs was arrested Tuesday for cocaine disribution after police said they found sandwich bags with the drug in his toilet.

Lorenzo R. Sanders, 51, a clerical assistant, was charged with unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, FOX5 reports.

In addition to more than 120 grams of cocaine tucked around the toilet, police found a scale, cash, and three unused ski masks, according to court documents.

Bowser released a statement last night saying that the administration doesn’t “tolerate employees who violate public trust” and noting that her predecessor did the hiring.

Mr. Sanders, a career service employee, was hired in 2012 by the Gray Administration. Unlike direct mayoral appointees, Mr. Sanders cannot be immediately terminated at will. We have placed Mr. Sanders on administrative leave and have engaged the HR process necessary to terminate career service employees. The Bowser Administration does not tolerate employees who violate the public trust. We have made Mr. Sanders’ work space available to the police.”
