As promised, the deals and promotions and advertising for alternatives to Metro keep rolling in. And the latest is specifically targeted to the area most affected by SafeTrack’s doozy of a second surge.

With the Potomac Avenue and Stadium Armory stations closed entirely until July 3, Metro is running shuttle buses to bridge the gap in service to its eastern end. But WMATA has warned that the buses won’t have anywhere near the capacity that trains carry during peak hours.
