As construction on the NewYoFla station on the Red Line wraps up this fall, WMATA is warning that track work will close a section of the Red Line three times by the end of the year, WTOP reports.

Labor Day weekend, the Red Line will close between Union Station and Fort Totten. Shuttle buses will serve the Brookland-CUA and Rhode Island Avenue stations. WMATA is urging commuters to use the Green Line to bypass the construction.

The NewYoFla station, located between Florida Avenue and M Street in Northeast, is the first “in-fill” station added to the metrorail system.
