A DCist correspondent sends us these photos from a fender bender in Adams Morgan sometime Friday evening / Saturday morning.

Our correspondent writes:

Pictures below happened like this, some cars got in a scrape up, not sure where the others went but this car was abandoned and the police swarmed in real fast, probably in reaction to a possible car based threat since it was left in a densely populated area, but then, as if they recognized the car, nobody proceeded to search it or make much of an effort to move it. If you look closely at the roof of the car you can make out four antennas and more then one passer by thought it looked like an unmarked police car. They shut the street down and that was pretty much all I saw, still
kind of weird.

While here at DCist we can’t see much of the four antenna, we’re all for letting the reader decide.
