A contributor to DCWatch’s email newsletter says Washington Post technology reporter Mike Musgrove is planning to start his own blog. Here’s the excerpt, from this week’s edition:
I asked Mike Musgrove if he plans on setting up a blog soon. “Im seriously thinking of doing so,” he replied. Why? To become free of stodgy editors, to engage in more authentic journalism, to rise to the highest level of being a journalist, to be more inclusive, to listen more than to spout, to dialogue more than lecture. (My words, not his.)
The Post has hesitated to embrace the blog phenomenon, instead choosing to develop their well-read “Live Online” live chats.
