Child Care Centers Are Being Pushed To The Brink. At One, It Could Mean Fewer Services For Homeless D.C. Families
Without more federal money, D.C, Maryland and Virginia could lose more than 200,000 child care slots combined during the pandemic, according to a report by the Center for American Progress, a progressive think tank.
The House Natural Resources Committee held a hearing Monday, in part, to determine whether members should consider reforming Park Police guidelines around use of force.
A message on the program website says the suspension was caused by “the ongoing health emergency and its impact on DC government’s operations and budget.”
