DCist feels bad for our friends who are from the Carolinas, or anyone for that matter who depend on US Airways to fly home to see friends and family. US Airways has filed for bankruptcy for a second time, casting doubts on the abilities of the airline, that counts D.C.’s Reagan National Airport as a hub, to get out of the red and into the black.
Reuters is reporting that the nation’s No. 7 airline is intending to operate as normal as it considers its options (DCist suggests looking at your Dividend Miles program options sooner, rather than later.).
United is currently operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. American airlines nearly avoided it. Delta continues to tred closer to bankruptcy.
