DCist thinks it’s easy for any DCer to get annoyed, especially when it involves outsiders. While it is easy to make fun of and find faults in the tourist classes that descend on our city in the spring and summer, tourists do bring in a lot of revenue to the city, from which we all benefit. (Thanks to Yakusha for this photo of tourists on the Tidal Basin.)

But then of course the people we interact with can cause us great mental strife. (DCist was already having a really bad weekend when a tourist, not demonstrating a keen sense of pedestrian flow in a metrorail passageway shoved against our shoulder by mistake and made us drop a bottle of wine at the foot of an escalator. The station manager was not pleased, but when we told him that a “tourist” did it, he said “no problem.” The tourist in question, who was wearing a “Band Camp Mother” t-shirt, did say sorry, but quickly scampered away, leaving DCist behind to deal with the mess.)

But there are a lot of other bloggers as of late who have found the time to hate.

DCeiver reports being annoyed by an “awesome gaggle” of George Washington University co-eds fresh from a trip to the Clarendon Cheesecake Factory.

And DCSOB has his weekly nomination for SOB of the Week. Last week’s honoree? The crew of Casa Peña on 17th Street who sell skunky beer and spoiled milk.

And then of course, there is why.i.hate.dc, which should be self-explanatory.
