An Election Special

As part of our Election coverage, Gothamist‘s Ben Chappel interviewed Oscar Award winning filmmaker, Errol Morris, who has been working with MoveOn PAC on a number of video and paper advertisements in advance of next week’s elections. Morris’ “Fog of War” — a sobering and uncomfortable look at Vietnam War and Cold War philosophy through a blunt and eye-opening interview with Robert McNamara — captivated DCist. And with the upcoming opening of the Cold War Museum in Lorton, Va., and the recent death of one of the Cold War’s major strategists, Paul Nitze, we’ll probably rent “Fog of War” again real soon. But the Morris interview touches on many other things, so be sure to check it out.
