DCist was a bit puzzled when a tipster told us that a “preppy looking white kid” with a Bush-Cheney button was riding down the sidewalk very near the Bush-Cheney campaign headquarters in Arlington riding a Segway people mover. This episode unfolded on Clarendon Boulevard at around 3:45 p.m. yesterday.

The unidentified person (it is not clear whether the person was officially affiliated with the campaign) was riding the Segway like a pro, with no hands grasped to the handles. “He seemed like a seasoned veteran,” our source tells DCist. We’ve all seen photos of the President and his father on Segways–but has the Segway now become the unofficial people mover of the campaign?
