It’s been an exciting few months. As DCist grew from two people late this summer into a solid crew of blogging contributors, we’ve outdone our own expectations. As we mentioned before, the Washingtonian even named DCist as a “habit-forming blog.” We hope you agree.

As DCist continues to grow, we hope to tap your resources. Though we love and continue to appreciate tips, we hope to go a couple extra steps further by bringing on a few more contributors by the end of the year.

We’re looking to expand our coverage in all areas, particularly in food, entertainment and neighborhood reporting. So if you think you’d be a good candidate to contribute, e-mail us at staff [at] dcist [dot] com and put “New Contributor” in the subject line.

Also, we launched the DCist Interview the week before Thanksgiving with the aim of making it a permanent feature. If you know of great subjects we should talk to, be sure to let us know.
