With many people getting ready to travel for the upcoming Christmas holiday, we wanted to wish you safe travels to where ever you may be going and a pleasant time off from what ever you may be doing.
Although DCist will still be publishing, we will be doing a lighter load over the coming week. Bloggers have families, too, and some of our parents have very slow modems that make posting on a regular basis very frustrating.
Some of us will be sticking around town, others will be traveling to far off and exotic locales, such as East Grand Rapids, Mich., (Mike); and Cumberland, Maine (Rob). So if you’re around D.C. and are complaining about the weather, please note that there are places elsewhere in the world that probably have it worse.
So stay tuned to this space to what what’s going on around town, and as the end of the year approaches, get ready for DCist’s 2004 wrap-up and best and worst lists.
