A lot of stuff going on this week on “The West Wing.” The president hosts a party for Nobel laureates, Toby tries to lower the minimum voting age, there’s a secret slumber party for Democratic members of Congress, and Kate has to stop the U.S. from invading Canada. It’s a busy week, so let’s get to it.

The president is gearing up for a reception of Nobel laureates, and he’s really looking forward to spending the evening talking to his fellow nerds until he learns that there’s an unwelcome guest. Apparently, a fellow economist that Jed hates shows up, dances the tango with Abbey and then gives him a hard time for running up the national debt. Always nice to have someone you don’t like come in to your office, criticize how you do your job and then dance with your wife. Jed takes it like a pro, but he’s a little pissed because he knows the criticism is fair.
