Kites, Some Blossoms On the Mall: Attendees of the Smithsonian’s 39th annual Kite Festival struggled with gusty winds and cool temperatures yesterday after the festival was delayed one day due to rain. Nats Dress Rehearsal Goes Smoothly: Although the Nationals lost to the New York Mets 4-3 at yesterday’s exhibition game at RFK stadium, the game went off without any major hitches. Aside from some neighbors angry over the nonexistent parking plan and some other small glitches, the stadium’s $18 million renovation seemed mostly complete.
