>> The artists’ collaborative KIOSKdc — including Karen Joan Topping, Ian Jehle, Alan Callander and “Dirtfarm” cartoonist Ben Claassen III — open “Traveling with Gulliver” at the District of Columbia Arts Center this Friday. In the exhibit, the artists play on Jonathan Swift’s story of the four lands visited by Gulliver to showcase four original works of drawing, video, installation and cartoon. Each artist presents work loosely corresponding to one of Gulliver’s four adventures. Their work is complemented by narration by Peter Donovan. The opening reception for the show is Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. For more information about the exhibit and the artists, visit their website.
